Family killed in Russian attack on Zaporizhzhya overnight
The father and the girl died instantly. The mother died in hospital.
On the evening of 21 March, Russia attacked Zaporizhzhya. As a result of this attack, 13 people were injured and three people were killed. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhya OVA Ivan Fedorov.
He said that in the morning on Saturday, 22 March, died a 38-year-old woman, who was wounded at night. Doctors fought for her life for more than 10 hours, but could not save her.
On Friday evening, the Russians struck 10 blows in Zaporizhzhya. One of them came to a residential house. Then a 41-year-old man and his 14-year-old daughter were killed. The woman who died in the morning was the girl's mother.
Also, according to the OBA, 13 people were injured during the attack on the town, including a 9-month-old infant. One woman was hospitalised in extremely serious condition. Doctors continue to fight for her life. Six people are in moderate condition. Most of them received burns, mine blast injuries and contusions.
The attack destroyed one and damaged two private residences, blast wave and debris damaged neighbouring buildings.
At night rescuers completed rescue operations in Zaporozhye. The State Emergency Situations Service involved 63 rescuers and 16 units of equipment.
