Exotic animals tried to be smuggled out of Ukraine
The animals were attempted to be removed in a minibus.
A Polish citizen tried to smuggle exotic animals out of Ukraine. He was prevented by pogrniczniki. This was reported by the press service of the State Security Service of Ukraine.
During an in-depth inspection of the minibus travelling to Poland were found lemurs and birds, - stated in the message.
It is noted that the foreigner did not have on hand documents that would authorise the export of animals outside the country.
In addition, the man tried to resolve the situation with a bribe of 1,900 US dollars and 100 euros.
However, the border guard refused the bribe and warned of criminal liability. The police were called to the scene of the emergency.
