The head of the European Commission promised that the EU will continue to support Ukraine and will strengthen sanctions against the Russian Federation, which have already caused her enormous damage.

She herself stated this in her annual address "On the State of the Union" in the European Parliament.

In March, we successfully connected Ukraine to our power grid. It was planned for 2024, and we did it in just two weeks, and today Ukraine exports electricity to the EU,” she said.

Von der Leyen stressed that she wants to significantly expand this mutually beneficial trade.

In addition, the head of the European Commission promised that the EU will continue to support Ukraine and will strengthen sanctions against the Russian Federation, which have already caused her enormous damage.
