Elon Musk promises to fund Starlink under any circumstances

Elon Musk wrote about this on his Twitter. He wrote:

I told Mikhail Fedorov that SpaceX would not shut down Starlink even if the Department of Defense withdrew funding.

The dialogue with the Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov took place in the comments on the news that the EU may allocate funds to pay for Starlink services in our country. This issue was discussed by 27 foreign ministers representing the countries of the European Union. The solution to this issue is still at an early stage, but several countries have shown interest in it.

Fedorov confirmed that Musk had promised him in a private communication that he would ensure Starlink would work in Ukraine in any case. Fedorov also said that this is critically important for Ukraine.

It is worth recalling that Musk recently said that his company SpaceX is losing a lot of money, allegedly financing the operation of Starlink satellite Internet in Ukraine. Therefore, he approached the Pentagon with a proposal to take over the financing of the Internet in Ukraine.
