Experts predict a rise in prices for all products by the end of the year

The National Bank of Ukraine predicts that by the end of the year prices may rise by another third. It is possible that in 2023 food prices will rise by another 20%.

Meat will definitely rise in price. At the same time, chicken will remain significantly cheaper than other types of meat. Therefore, it is she who will continue to form the basis of the diet of meat-eaters. As for pork and beef, they have already become festive food for most Ukrainians and will remain so in the future, experts said.

The main reason is the reduction in the number of animals in Ukraine.

In August, the price of eggs increased by 4-5 hryvnias. Until the end of the year, eggs will only grow in price. Milk in August has risen in price slightly. But in the future, prices for milk and dairy products will rise. Always in winter, the price of milk jumped up due to the seasonal factor and a sharp reduction in supply in the market.

Nobody knows how much energy carriers will cost. And no one is sure that a rocket will not fly into the vegetable warehouse tomorrow. Consequently, farmers will try to sell their products immediately from the field, in the fall. Therefore, it can sharply fall in price in early autumn. But in winter, what is still laid down for storage can cost astronomical sums, experts said.
