Gillian Anderson urged to help children in Ukraine
Famous actress and writer Gillian Anderson has called for helping the children of Ukraine.
Gillian Anderson urged to donate to the needs of Ukrainian children affected by the war. She published a video message in her Instagram.
It's been over a year since the conflict in Ukraine began, and the bombs continue to fall, destroying lives. Children endure violence and trauma for months, move from place to place, lose loved ones and don't know when they can return home," Gillian Anderson wrote.
The actress emphasised that without urgent help, the children will bear the brunt of this conflict for the rest of their lives.
GillianAnderson wrote that War Child has expanded its work in Ukraine, helping families with vouchers for food and clothing, as well as providing the mental health first aid they so desperately need.
