Damage to Hostomel from the war was estimated at 10 billion hryvnia
Damage to Hostomel's infrastructure from the war amounted to 9.5 billion hryvnias, or $343 million.

Since February 24, Hostomel has become one of the critical targets of the Russian invaders on the way to Kyiv: it was fired upon and bombed from the air, and troops tried to land at the local Antonov airport. There were heavy battles for the airport and the city itself, and it was possible to liberate the settlement only on April 2, remind the KSE.
As a result of hostilities in Hostomel, almost 40% - 4.5 thousand out of 11.8 thousand - existing buildings were destroyed. In particular, 905 objects were completely or severely destroyed.
The KSE reports that the most significant damage was to industry and housing stock.
Earlier, the CSE reported that as of August 1, the volume of direct losses to the Ukrainian economy from damage and destruction of residential and non-residential buildings and infrastructure is $108.3 billion, or UAH 2.9 trillion, and the minimum need to restore destroyed assets is $185 billion.
