Death toll from strike on Kramatorsk rises
The number of casualties in Kramatorsk has increased in the aftermath of a rocket attack by the occupiers.
The death toll has risen to 11. The mayor of Kramatorsk, Oleksandr Honcharenko, said this on Facebook.
The mayor did not provide any other information. However, it is known that debris removal and search operations continue.
What happened
on 27 June, the aggressor launched a missile attack on Kramatorsk, in the Donetsk region. A Russian missile hit a pizzeria with people inside. A private sector was also damaged during the attack.
Immediately after the tragedy, it became known that two people were killed and 25 injured. Among the injured were a child and three foreigners.
on June 28, around 11am, it became known that the death toll had risen to 10 people and 61 injured. Among them were three dead children and one injured toddler.
According to clarified reports, Russian troops hit Kramatorsk with Iskander missiles. The dead include a 17-year-old girl and her 14-year-old sisters. An eight-month-old baby was wounded, his life is not in danger," the National Police added.
The SBU said that the missile strike on the centre of Kramatorsk had been coordinated by an agent of the Russian special services. He turned out to be a local resident who was regularly gathering intelligence for the enemy.
