Children and grandmothers in Zhytomyr region created amulets for warriors
In Zhytomyr region, children and a folk folklore group prepared amulets for the soldiers of the "Lyut" unit.
In the village of Bovsuny in Zhytomyr Region, pupils of a lyceum have handmade amulets for special forces, while grandmothers have knitted a thread that, according to popular belief, brings soldiers home safely. This was reported in the National Police.
There is such a thread, which remains after weaving, women coiled it in a separate ball and kept it. According to folk traditions, part of this thread was knitted to a man who went to the army, or to war. "Vorotilo" - that's its name - to return home. Who carried it with him, he was sure to return from the service unharmed, - said the soloist of the group Maria Nevmerzhitskaya.
With a song and heartfelt wishes grandmothers tied such a thread on each guardian angel. 20 policemen received their amulets. They will protect us, and the angels will protect their lives.
