By 31 July, 17-year-olds have an important thing to do: what it's all about

Chernihiv regional territorial centre of acquisition and social support (TCC and SP) reminded that until 31 July 2025 all male citizens of Ukraine, who this year turns 17 years old, are obliged to enter the military registration of conscripts. This was reported by the press service of the TCC.

Registration provides for the entry of data into the Unified State Register of conscripts, persons liable for military duty and reservists. This can be done through the electronic office of the conscript, updating personal data, or personally visiting the district or city TCC with the necessary documents.

The agency emphasised that registration does not mean conscription. This procedure is necessary to determine the human potential, level of education and personal qualities of citizens.

Persons who are serving a sentence in penal institutions or are under compulsory medical measures are not registered. Those who will not have time to pass the procedure until the end of July, will be able to do it only by personal application to the TCC.

To be registered it is necessary to submit a passport of a citizen of Ukraine, an extract from the register of the territorial community indicating the place of residence, a birth certificate, an identification code, a document on education, a certificate from the place of study or work (if available), as well as four 35×45 mm photographs without a headdress. For internally displaced persons, a certificate of IDP registration is additionally required.
