The British want to build a factory to produce weapons for Ukraine

The chairman of the UK parliament's defence committee, Tobias Ellwood, has said this, according to The Telegraph.

The Conservative MP believes that it is the right decision to transfer Western-made combat tanks to Ukraine. However, in his opinion, in the long term the supply model to Kiev with different supply chains and types of ammunition "is not viable".

This is why Ellwood believes that with Western military stocks dwindling, a weapons factory should be established in Poland, as it would help transform the Ukrainian armed forces into a more independent army.

Let's do the same with Ukraine, so they can buy their own equipment to their own specifications, perhaps to NATO standard, and have a constantly protected supply chain.
