Britain increases production of artillery shells for Ukraine
The main reason for the enlargement is that Russia has become much more aggressive and dangerous on Europe's borders.
This was announced by British Defence Secretary Ben Wallace to Reuters.
He said that the UK will further expand its production lines and increase the production of artillery shells.
In this way Britain will replenish the stocks, which are being emptied in order to send weapons to Ukraine. In addition, in this way even more shells and weapons can be sent to Ukraine.
We have concluded contracts... We have already started to receive some supplies of these weapons for our own resupply, as well as some supplies for Ukraine.
According to Wallace, this decision is primarily due to the fact that Russia has become much more aggressive and dangerous on the borders of Europe.
It is worth recalling that British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak expressed readiness to help countries that would be willing to send aircraft to Ukraine. However, Britain itself will not be able to resolve this issue.
