Boris Johnson claimed to know what Prigozhin was thinking before he died

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation confirmed Prigozhin's death in the plane crash Molecular and genetic expertise has been completed.

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson believes that Prigozhin, whose plane crashed in Russia on the way between Moscow and St. Petersburg on 23 August, was thinking before he died about who ordered his death. Johnson wrote about this in his column for the Daily Mail.

After the explosion took place on board the reliable Embraer Legacy 600 executive jet and as the plane flew towards the ground, not more than a few seconds passed, and yet I am sure that at that moment Prigozhin was clearly aware of what had happened and knew who had given the order to kill him," the politician wrote.

Johnson is sure that Prigozhin had time not only to realise who killed him, but also to foul himself.

I'm willing to bet that the last thought in Prigozhin's doomed skull was "Putin!" preceded by one of the many swear words that the former prison inmate and hot dog vendor was so fluent in," Johnson said.

The British politician wrote that Prigozhin realised he was going to be tried and even accepted that reality.

For the past few weeks, in the back of my mind, I've been expecting it to happen," Johnson said.

He noted that Prigozhin is not the only one on the killer's conscience. He was also involved in the deaths of Alexander Litvinenko and Sergei Skripal, as well as the murders of opposition politician Boris Nemtsov and human rights activist Anna Politkovskaya.

This is the violent liquidation of one's enemies by the incumbent head of state. I cannot recall another example of such demonstrative and unrestrained cruelty by a world leader. The mask is completely off. Putin has been unmasked as a gangster," Johnson added.
