Border guards told what is happening on the border with Belarus
Belarus has sent tanks to the Ukrainian border.
A representative of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, said that the situation on the border with Belarus remained fully controlled. According to him, Minsk is escalating the situation in this direction in order to play along with Russia in its aggression.
At the moment, we do not record any movement of equipment or personnel near our border," said Andrei Demchenko.
He did not rule out that the Ministry of Defence would send some troops closer to the Ukrainian territory, but, as Demchenko pointed out, no additional forces have been recorded so far.
The day before, the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus reported that Belarusian tanks had been sent to the border with Ukraine, while the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Belarus gave orders to strengthen the groupings of troops in Homel and Mozyr directions. Minsk explained that it was necessary to counteract "provocations.
Prior to that, nominal leader of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that Ukrainian drones had violated the airspace of Belarus.
Analysts believe that the Kremlin is putting pressure on Minsk, forcing Lukashenka to enter the war. Putin began to exert more pressure on his vassal after Ukrainian troops entered the territory of the Russian Federation.
