Business will not be fined for late reporting during the war

The Verkhovna Rada adopted bill No. 7378, which exempts businesses from liability for violating the deadlines for disclosing financial statements during the period of martial law and within three months after its termination or cancellation.

Aleksey Goncharenko explained that the voted amendments relate to the bill on protecting the interests of reporting entities during martial law and will be valid during martial law and for 3 months after it ends.

The head of the Servant of the People party, Elena Shulyak, stressed that the state continues to support entrepreneurs during the war. That is why, according to her, now it will be possible to publish financial statements along with relevant documents on your page or website within 3 months after the end of the war immediately for the entire period of non-disclosure.

According to her, legal entities will not be liable for violation of the deadlines for publishing:

• annual consolidated financial statements;
• audit reports;
• management reports;
• consolidated management reports;
• reports on payments to the state;
• consolidated reports on payments to the state.

Recall that back in May, the Verkhovna Rada voted for the extension of martial law in Ukraine - currently, it is legislatively valid until August 23, 2022.
