An analyst assessed the impact of Russian DRGs on the overall course of the war
The overall course of the war will not be affected by the activity of Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRGs).
This was said by military analyst Colonel Petro Chernik at an online briefing at the Military Media Centre.
Chernik commented on recent attempts by enemy DRGs to break through the state border in northern Ukraine. In his opinion, the Russians are trying to reconnoitre the current state of Ukraine's defence. For the invaders have not given up the idea to strike in this direction.
At the same time - according to Petr Chernik - attacks by Russian DRGs are mainly a propaganda move, an attempt to demonstrate that "they can do something".
Earlier Socialportal reported that the Russians are increasing their presence in the occupied part of Luhansk region. Thus, the occupiers are trying to pull the Ukrainian defence forces away from the sections of the frontline where they are having success.
