A Ukrainian warrior took footage of an unusual rodent in a dugout. The photo and video of the animal were published in the group Animal World of Ukraine on Facebook.

Connoisseurs of nature determined that together with the Ukrainian defenders live European mouse (Apodemus sylvaticus).
The European mouse, or forest mouse, or European forest mouse(Apodemus sylvaticus) is a species of the mouse family (Muridae).
Despite its name, it lives not only in forests, but also in parks and gardens. Due to its extremely timid behaviour and fearfulness, the European mouse is rarely seen.
The European wood mouse has a brownish coat with a white underside, and the dividing line is somewhat blurred. The wood mouse has a small, dirty yellow spot on its neck.
Its mass is 20-30 g and body length is about 8-10 cm, the tail is about the same length.
