A Russian military helicopter invaded Polish territory

The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces has reported that a Russian helicopter belonging to the Baltic Fleet violated the country's airspace. Polish authorities regard the incident as a test of the effectiveness of national air defence systems in the face of external threats.
The incident occurred in the evening of 25 April over Polish territorial waters in the Baltic Sea.
The movement of the Russian helicopter was monitored in real time by both military radar stations of the Polish Army and civilian radars of the Polish Air Navigation Agency.
The Polish Army stressed that throughout the entire time, air defence forces and means were on full alert to ensure the safety of the country's airspace.
