The wreckage of a downed Russian cruise missile has been spotted in the vicinity of Russia's Volgograd. The photo was published by Status-6 military observer in social network X.
The remains of a Russian Kh-55/101/555 air-launched cruise missile have been found by railway workers near the Russian city of Volgograd, the report said.
The missile was presumably launched from a Russian Tu-95MS strategic bomber during recent missile strikes on Ukraine, but malfunctioned during the flight and fell in Russian territory.
This is the third such case of Russian missiles crashing on Russian territory since the beginning of the month.
