- Zelensky spoke about Russian Federation's attempts to eliminate him

According to Zelensky, the Russians will use any tools to eliminate him.
Ukraine's special services have foiled at least five or six plots to assassinate President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Zelensky told about this in an interview with The Sun.
TheUkrainian President compared the first foiled plot to the first COVID outbreak.
'The first time was very interesting, it's like COVID - people don't know what to do about it and it looks very scary,' Zelensky said.
He said that Russia wants to remove him as president of Ukraine by the end of 2023.
"The latest information: they really want - there is a plan 'Maidan-3' to change the president of Ukraine - perhaps not through assassination, but through a change (of power - ed.)," Zelensky said.
According to him, the Russians will use any tools they have.
The idea is to carry out a new operation before the end of this year. They have even given it a name. But, you see, we can live with it," the president added.
Zelensky ruled out holding elections to be held next year, insisting that it is illegal under martial law. It is impossible because of the war and would divide the country at a time when people are focused on fighting Russia.
Asked if Ukraine would take the chance to assassinate Putin if given the opportunity, Zelensky said: "This is a war and Ukraine has every right to defend our land."
