Law enforcers in Kiev Region have opened more than 10,000 criminal proceedings over crimes committed by the Russian military on the territory of the region.



The head of the National Police in Kiev Region, Andriy Nebitov, said:

1369 bodies of civilians killed by occupiers have already been discovered in the Kiev region, 197 bodies of citizens remain unidentified. 300 people are now considered missing.

Nebitov added that most of the criminal proceedings have already been handed over to investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine:

However, the National Police continues to assist with the initial fixation, examination and assignment of relevant expertise. It should also be noted that law enforcers have handed over 50 suspicions to the Russian military for committing atrocities in the region.
