Then, on August 13, in an official briefing, the representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, also announced the capture of the village of Peski.

After 8 days, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced the liberation of the village of Peski and that it had been cleared of "Bandera formations."

On September 2, in addition to taking the village of Pesky, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that during the retreat, the Ukrainian army left a large number of weapons and wounded. Russian military doctors provided medical assistance to the victims.
