The Office of the President said how much currency the state will print per month

Rostyslav Shurma, Deputy Head of the Office of the President, spoke about this in an interview with Forbes Ukraine.

The range can be emission from 30 to 60 billion UAH per month.

This is a range that will not create problems. For example, if we unblocked the situation with grain, then, thanks to a 10% fee for foreign exchange transactions, we will remove $1-2 billion of speculative demand for currency. If the level of partner support continues, the balance of payments will even out; that is, we will be able to provide budget support of more than UAH 30 billion per month without significant risks for the currency, Shurma said.

According to him, with a balance of export-import operations, resolving the issue of paying the state debt, and significant support from international partners, Ukraine can afford to issue from UAH 30 to 60 billion per month.
