The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro wants to cancel the visa-free regime for Russians


From June 1 to August 14, 48,193 crossed the state border at the entrance to Montenegro. Thus, this is 15% more than in the same period last year, when 41,802 Russians entered.

Foreign Minister of Montenegro Ranko Krivokapic said that his country should be on the side of the European Union in everything, "even when it comes to suspending the visa-free agreement with Russia." He suggested introducing a visa regime for Russian citizens.
Montenegro is a devoted partner of the European Union, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs believes that our country should be in full solidarity with the EU in this decision, as it has been so far, the ministry said.
