The media have reported on Trump’s state of mind following the talks in Kyiv and Moscow

US President Donald Trump has reportedly scheduled separate telephone calls with the Russian leader and the Ukrainian president for 7 September, following a visit by his negotiators to Kyiv and Moscow.
This was reported by the Kyiv Independent, citing an anonymous source, according to “European Truth”.
An unnamed US official said that Trump is expected to hold telephone conversations on Monday, first with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin, and then with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The calls are scheduled for 7 September, after Trump has heard reports from his negotiators, Steve Whitcoff and Jared Kushner, on the outcome of the talks in Moscow and Kyiv.
Whitcoff and Kushner took part in talks in Moscow on 5 September, arrived in the Ukrainian capital by train on 6 September, and then travelled back on Sunday evening.
Three rounds of talks took place in Kyiv, one of which involved national security advisers from the ‘Euro-troika’ countries – France, the UK and Germany.
According to Zelenskyy, several new ideas regarding the future negotiation process were put forward during the talks in Kyiv, and an agreement was reached to hold another meeting in the Ukraine-US-Europe format in the near future.
Kushner stated that an end to the war in Ukraine before winter was “not guaranteed”, but that the US was working to create the conditions necessary to achieve this goal. He also stated that Trump was determined to bring the Russian-Ukrainian war to an end.
