The fate of paramedic Tayra, who fell into Russian captivity, remains unknown
Paramedic Yulia Paevskaya with the call sign "Taira", who had been helping the defenders of Mariupol for a long time, was taken prisoner in March.
At the moment, nothing is known about her fate, writes mrpl.city.
It is noted that the woman was last seen on March 22, when Kremlin propagandists released a video with her.
As far as I know, she is a prisoner. But, I think, her fate is not one that can be envied, unfortunately, - said one of the defenders of Mariupol.
The fact that a volunteer and a military medic fell into the hands of the Russians became known on March 16. The last time the head of the Angels of Taira medical battalion was in touch that day at about 4 p.m.
It is noted that "Taira" went to help citizens who were injured. Probably, it was there that she fell into the hands of the Russian military. Volunteer Oksana Korchinskaya told about it.
After the kidnapping of Yulia, Lyudmila Denisova, Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada, wrote an open appeal to the world community calling for all possible measures of pressure on the Russian Federation.
She saved the lives of civilians for 8 years, including children and wounded soldiers. Yulia has a disability and health problems. Being in captivity threatens his life and health,” Denisova stressed.
Where exactly now is the paramedic Yulia Paevskaya and what happened to her is still unknown.
