It became known what the most expensive car was brought to Ukraine under "zero" customs clearance

The most expensive car imported to Ukraine at zero duty was the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG model of 2022 edition at the price of 220 thousand dollars. This was reported by the Transcarpathian customs.

I bought a car and brought it into our country - an entrepreneur from Dnepropetrovsk region.

In total, as of July 1, in the zone of activity of the Transcarpathian customs, since the beginning of the law on "zero customs clearance" (from March 24), 18,897 cars purchased by Ukrainians outside the country were allowed into the territory of Ukraine within the framework of a zero duty.

Recall that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed bill No. 7418 , adopted on June 21, providing for the return of duties and VAT on imported goods, including cars. The law came into force on July 1.

The restoration of import taxation was explained by the need to fill the state budget and eliminate excessive competitive advantage against domestically produced products.

During the period of zero customs clearance, Ukrainians have saved about UAH 23.5 billion. For the entire period of zero customs clearance, 211,000 cars were imported.
