On the page of the State Border Service on Facebook, users write that the border guards have stopped releasing students to study at foreign universities.

Students and their parents assume that there is an unspoken ban on students leaving. TSN reports .

The situation was explained by the people's deputy, law professor Yulia Grishina.

The rules for crossing the state border, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers in March, do not provide that university students have the right to cross the border. Therefore, de jure, students of neither Ukrainian nor foreign universities can cross the state border during martial law,” reports Yulia Grishina.

Yulia Grishina clarified that students of foreign universities have no difficulties crossing the border.

Based on the results of numerous appeals, including mine, in March, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny sent a letter to the State Border Service, according to which the military registration and enlistment offices received an order to grant a delay and permission to cross the border to those who studied at foreign universities at the time of the start of mobilization.

It was on the basis of this letter that the recruitment centers began to issue certificates to students, and the border guards began to graduate students from foreign universities, the people's deputy added.

Meanwhile, the Servant of the People faction, according to Yulia Grishina, wants to allow all students to leave Ukraine.

Yesterday I sent an appeal to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces on granting permission to cross the state border to all full-time and dual students, as well as to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence with a request to consider bills No. 7484, No. 7484-1 and No. 7484-2 and send them to the vote with a recommendation to accept one of them as a basis. We are now signing an appeal to the Prime Minister with other people's deputies - it is in his authority to resolve this issue quickly, - Yulia Grishina specified.

Recall that in Krakow, engineers will be trained free of charge to restore Ukraine.
