Since September 19, 2022, Volodymyr Saldo has been at his workplace and has returned to his duties as head of the Kherson Region Administration.

In early August, Saldo was hospitalized. The official version of the hospitalization sounds like he needed to be examined due to complications from the coronavirus.

But it is unofficially known that the collaborator was brought to Moscow due to suspicion of poisoning. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated that chemical warfare agents could be used against Saldo.
