Poland ready to train two battalions of the AFU each month


Training will be tailored to the needs of the Ukrainian military.
This was reported by the Ukrainian news and analysis website Ukrinform.
The journalists quoted Polish Deputy National Defence Minister Wojciech Skurkiewicz as saying that the Polish side would train two battalions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on a monthly basis.
The Polish proposal is distinguished by the declaration of group training... We will start training two Ukrainian battalions at the same time on a monthly basis.
The politician also stressed that the training would meet the needs of the Ukrainian military and should offer the Ukrainian side a comprehensive package to prepare the Ukrainian troops for combat operations.
Skurkiewicz concluded by recalling that Poland has already carried out 30 deliveries of military assistance to Ukraine. Additionally, about 50 countries from around the world send military assistance to Ukraine through the hub established in the southeastern part of the country.
