Sociologists find out how many Ukrainians will return after the war

According to a survey by the Rating group 50% of Ukrainians who left because of Russia's full-scale invasion plan to return after the war.



72% of respondents stated that they have not changed their place of residence since 24 February. 12% have moved out, but have already returned, and 16% have changed their place of residence permanently.

Among the residents of the war zones, 9% say that their housing is completely destroyed. 20% say that it is partially destroyed. 5% of people in the de-occupied territories have their housing destroyed. And the same 5% have already rebuilt their homes.

As for changes in welfare, one third of the respondents have significantly decreased their income.

the level of income has increased for 6% of respondents since the beginning of the war, for 36% - it has not changed, for 17% - it has slightly decreased, for 30% - it has significantly decreased. 10% of respondents have lost almost all their income. The situation with incomes is the worst in the South and the East, in the middle age, among the poor and low-income population, as well as among those who lost their job or work privately, - the researchers of Rating group write

The vast majority of respondents say that the political leadership of Russia is guilty of war crimes against Ukraine (98%). 96% of respondents think that Russian military servicemen are guilty. 87% of Russian citizens are guilty.

The audience for this survey is Ukrainians aged 18 years and older in all regions except the temporarily occupied regions. Over 2,000 people were interviewed for this study. The margin of error is no more than 2.2%
