Medvedev called Kazakhstan an "artificial state", but then said that it was not him
Dmitry Medvedev published a post on the social network VKontakte, calling Kazakhstan an "artificial state."
After 10 minutes, the post was deleted from Medvedev's official VK page.
Kazakhstan is an artificial state, the former Russian territories, for example, the cities of Guryev, Semipalatinsk, even Alma-Ata, were called Verny until 1924, writes Medvedev.
Also, according to Medvedev, a genocide of Russians is taking place in Kazakhstan, and order will be established, Medvedev, only after the "arrival" of Russia.
The deputy chairman of the security council and former president of Russia also mentioned other countries of the former Soviet Union. Medvedev also believes that "North and South Ossetia, Abkhazia, and the current territory of Georgia can only be united as part of a single state with Russia."
Medvedev commented on the "post" that it was a fake. It was emphasized that Medvedev's last post on Vkontakte was about the Russian Navy. It was reported that the process of investigating the hacking by the administration of the social network is already underway.
Ukrainian journalist Denis Kazansky commented on this situation:
We live in a fantastic time when a fake can be more accurate than the truth itself. Here is a specific example.
Former Russian President Medvedev published another Nazi post on his Vkontakte page, in which he threatened to attack Georgia and Kazakhstan after the capture of Ukraine.
After some time, the post was deleted, and Medvedev's assistant wrote that the account had been hacked. But it doesn't matter anymore. Since the post's content was not at all different from the Nazi bullshit that Medvedev wrote before, the opus continues to be discussed as if it were an actual post by Medvedev (many are convinced that he was just drunk when he wrote it). After all, everyone understands this is precisely how the Russian government thinks. Even if Medvedev did not write this post, what is written is no different from what is regularly carried by various Russian deputies.
There was more truth in one fake post than in all the official statements Russian officials made in previous years.
- Russian Federation drafts bill that would ban Ukrainian books in occupied territories
- In Sevastopol, occupiers issued plots to Russian Federation "veterans" at the fraternal cemetery
- Russian army drops two aerial bombs on school in Sumy region
- Emergency rescue operations completed in Kyiv, number of injured increased to 10
- At the WOT, the Russians have increased the number of roadblocks to search for Ukrainian insurgency
- Ukrainian air defence has shot down more than 2,000 cruise and ballistic missiles since the start of the invasion
