Wagner convoys enter Moscow region

The Wagner convoys entered the Moscow region, passing through the town of Barabanovo. They are only a two-hour drive from Moscow. This was reported by Russian media.

According to Verstka, Wagner's mercenaries were divided into two groups. The first entered Russia via the checkpoint Novoshakhtinsk in the Rostov region around midnight, reached the M-4 highway and by the morning made it to Rostov-on-Don, where the headquarters of the Southern Military District is located. It is known that this group of PMCs included Yevgeny Prigozhin - in Rostov he met with Deputy Defense Minister Yunus-Bek Yevkurov and General Alekseev.

The second group crossed the border about 120km north of the first at the Voloshino checkpoint. From there, they reached the town of Millerovo and turned onto the M-4 highway to move towards Moscow from there. It bypassed Voronezh along the highway and headed further north, clashing with units of the Ministry of Defence on the way.

Meanwhile, the 217th Guards Parachute Regiment went over to Prigozhin's side.
