- In Zaporizhzhya region Russians kidnap people right on the street

In the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhya region, people are kidnapped right on the street, after which the Russians put citizens on the "list of extremists".
This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhya regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov.
Residents of Berdyansk and Melitopol recently witnessed the kidnapping of men by armed Russians. In particular, a Melitopol man was kidnapped when he was throwing out rubbish.
Abducted people can be held for months and years. At the moment, the whereabouts of dozens of people who were kidnapped at the beginning of the occupation are unknown.
There are men and women of different ages and occupations in captivity," Fedorov said.
The captors make the kidnapped people "terrorists and extremists". In Zaporizhzhya region alone, seven people were added to such a list during 2024 - all of them were kidnapped and tortured to force a confession.
