Mobilised Russians in occupied Crimea have beaten up their colonel, which resulted in his death. This is reported by the GUR.
The beating took place in the temporarily occupied Simferopol on 1 November.
A group of mobilised soldiers of the 20th Motor Rifle Division, part of the 8th Army of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces, inflicted grievous bodily harm on Colonel Musurbekov," the report said.
on 7 November, a hospital in Simferopol stated Musurbekov's death from his injuries.
The officer of the Russian occupation army held the position of deputy commander of the regiment.
The Russian servicemen suspected of killing the colonel changed into civilian clothes on the same day, deserted from the military unit and fled to the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation.
