The frozen Russian assets range from $300 to $500 billion.

This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal in New York during a press briefing for the media.

The frozen Russian assets range from $300 to $500 billion. Ukraine is lobbying for a new international agreement to confiscate these assets. We are also discussing the issue of changing the national laws of our partners for confiscation in favor of Ukraine,” he said.

The politician stressed that the aggressor must pay his price, and these funds should become a resource for restoring the country.

Shmyhal stressed that during meetings with the leaders of partner countries on the sidelines of the UN, he received assurances of unconditional support for Ukraine, despite Russia's latest provocative steps.

Previously, the Kyiv School of Economics estimated that Ukraine needs about $100 billion to rebuild.
