The State Emergency Service told how many rescuers have died since the start of a full-scale invasion

On September 17, Ukraine celebrates the Day of the Rescuer. Rescuers saved the lives of almost two thousand people and evacuated more than 2 million Ukrainians. The press service of the State Emergency Service reports this on Telegram.

During the performance of their duties, 43 rescuers gave their lives, 144 were injured, and eight were captured by the enemy, the State Emergency Service reported.
