Google is going to fight disinformation about Ukrainian refugees: details

Psychologists from the universities of Cambridge and Bristol, together with Jigsaw, created one and a half minute videos about refugees from Ukraine.
YouTube, Google, Twitter, TikTok and Facebook will show videos about Ukrainian refugees in their ad slots. This was reported by Reuters.
We are considering this as a pilot experiment, but then this approach can be applied in other countries,” Beth Goldberg, head of research at Jigsaw, said in an interview.
The creators of the videos stated that the company is fully focused on combating Russian negative manipulative allegations in the issue of Ukrainian refugees.
If you just tell people the truth, many will deny… but you can envision the methods that will be used to spread disinformation, as in the case of the war in Ukraine,” said John Rosenbeck, lead campaign expert.
The campaign starts in Poland, the country that hosted the largest number of Ukrainian refugees. Then it will spread to the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
