Russians achieve partial success near Bakhmut

The occupants are concentrating their main efforts on conducting offensives in the Liman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Mariinsk directions.



This was reported in an evening briefing by the AFU General Staff on Wednesday, 29 March.

In the Bakhmut direction, the invaders continue to storm the town of Bakhmut and have had partial success. At the same time, the Ukrainian military bravely holds the town and repels numerous enemy attacks. During the day, the Russians conducted unsuccessful offensives near Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Donetsk Region. They shelled Minkovka, Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Bakhmut, Chasov Yar and Torets in Donetsk Region," the report said.

Meanwhile, the Defence Forces' aviation conducted five strikes on areas where enemy personnel and military equipment were concentrated during the day. Air Force units also destroyed a Russian Su-24M bomber.

Our rocket and artillery crews struck 2 areas of concentration of Russian manpower, weapons and military equipment, 1 ammunition depot and 2 enemy fuel and lubricant depots.

Units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled 48 enemy attacks along the aforementioned lines.
