Enemy troops fled from an important settlement in southern Ukraine

Satellite images of Russian positions at Kiselevka, 15km northwest of Kherson, show that all but four Russian vehicles have retreated from previous forward positions, consistent with rumors that troops from the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (“DPR”) left Kiselevka and moved back towards the Dnieper River.
This is reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

According to ISW, Kiselevka is an operationally important location for Russian troops, as it is the last major settlement along the E58 highway and the rail line between the current Ukrainian positions and Chernobaevka, the extreme part of the Kherson region.
Such a retreat of Russian troops could open the way for Ukrainian troops to advance on Kherson.
In addition, Ukrainian troops continue to successfully repel attempts by enemy troops to advance in the areas of the settlements of Zaitsevo, Bakhmut, Bakhmutskoye, Krasnogorovka, Vodyanoye, Bezymyannoye and Novohrygorovka.
